So I've decided that I'm not such a small guy after all!! I've become quite fearless, and my pediatrician said she cannot believe how I've gotten so big so quickly. At my recent checkup yesterday (almost 20 months), I weighed in at
29.8 lbs (86th percentile) and am now 33.9 inches tall (79th percentile). But even better, I got TWO shots for something called a vaccination, and I didn't even cry - not even a peep!!! My sister on the other hand, who came along for the ride, just happened to be due for one of her vaccinations as well (just one though - not TWO like me). Well you would have thought that they were going to stab her when she got her shot because she absolutely refused and was screaming and crying like a crazy person. Mommy had to literally wrestle her into a choke hold to get her to be still for the shot. *I*, of course, found it quite entertaining, especially when Lexi said through all her tears, "Mommy, I don't think I can walk about of here" (the shot was given in her leg.....just like mine, but *I* had no trouble walking). Ha!! little "baby" brother......yeah whatever. I rock!!! But I'll admit that Lexi *is* kinda cool though because she managed to talk Mommy into getting us chips and queso as a special treat after getting our shots.
