South Texas Maize Maze

So Mommy and Daddy had the bright idea of going to the South Texas Maize Maze on Sunday afternoon and wandering around some corn field trying to find their way through this maze thing when it was 103 degrees outside. Lexi thought it was totally cool, but I'm over here roasting in the sun and wondering why I'm being subjected to all this. We did get to go on a hay ride, which was pretty cool, and then ride in the barrels behind the tractor. I played around in the spider-web net thingy with Lexi, but got all caught up and decided I just wanted to swing and watch Lexi jump across the huge bales of hay. Lexi made a new friend who ran all around the big farm with her and even played in the big sand box too. So, when I finally get to sit in a swing in the shade where I'm happy as can be, Mommy and Daddy wanted to go walk around more!! I was not happy to be leaving my comfy swing!! But at least I got to eat some good grub - the sweetest corn on the cob I've ever tasted (ok, it was the first corn on the cob I've ever tasted), but Mommy and Daddy sure loved it!!! We ended our day with a bag of kettle corn (well, except for me, apparently I'll choke on that stuff, so Mommy gave me apple chips instead). After the long drive home, we all had a MUCH needed bath and hit the bed so hard we were out in minutes.
