Williamsburg/Jamestown/Busch Gardens Family Trip

So Mommy and Daddy decided to take Friday off work and spend some time with little old me for a weekend getaway trip together. We drove up to Williamsburg, Virginia to do some sightseeing and have some relaxing family time. I had soooo much fun. First we went to the Jamestown Settlement, and I got to see what the first settlers to America lived like and the boats they came over on back in 1607. I went into some of the Indian huts, saw the animals skins and tried on a hat (which Mommy tells me was really a bowl). The next day we went to Busch Gardens, and I was in heaven. They had this really cool Sesame Street "Forest of Fun" where I got to see Elmo and Abby Cadabby do a live show, and I got to ride my first roller coaster rides. Then we saw a 3-D movie with Elmo and his friends, and I wore cool 3-D glasses and everything. I loved it!! Even Daddy got to ride the big-kid roller coaster rides while Mommy walked me around trying to get me to nap in my stroller. My nap was unfortunately cut short when Mommy walked me into the Germany Festhaus rights as the show was starting and the drummer walked right by us and banged that big drum right in my ear. How rude!!! But that meant more time for rides for Lexi and back to see more live Elmo shows!! After 7 hours of fun at Busch Gardens we were all beat and went back to the hotel for an early night. Our last day, we went to historic Williamsburg, and we saw lots of replicas of old buildings - pretty boring if you ask me, but I did get to see some horses and carriages, which was fun. Oh and Mommy and Daddy tried to lock me up for behaving badly (see below)...hee hee hee. We got home Sunday just in time for my nap, and I was so worn out from the weekend that I napped for 3 hours!!! (See 2 new links to tons of pictures on Kodak Gallery over on the left).
