Mommy and Daddy took me to the beach for Labor Day weekend right here in Virginia Beach, and we first went to the crowded beaches near 31st Street, and I was not pleased with the sand. It felt and looked like a bunch of dirt, and I wasn't happy with that dirt all over me - not happy AT ALL. So that beach day was a bit short lived. Then Daddy found out about another cool beach nearby that was better for little kids like me and less crowded. Well, I LOVED it, and there happened to be a sandcastle contest that day. I tried helping all the other kids build their sandcastles, but I wasn't much help. But the sand was really hard in parts, so I could walk very easily, which I really liked. We spent a long time at the beach, so I had lots of yummy snacks. I met a few friends and can't wait for our next beach trip!! Mommy says I'll love the beaches in Destin!!
