My First Christmas

Well my Nana and J-Pa are here in town visiting from Montana for my very first Christmas. We've had such a great time together, and I got to tear into all kinds of wrapping paper (too bad Mommy wouldn't let me eat the paper because it looked pretty tasty). I think I'm going to really like this Christmas stuff. So on Christmas Eve before we went to church, we went to the mall to get my picture taken with this old guy with a long white beard and a red and white suit. I'm not sure who this guy is, but he must be important because A LOT of people wanted to meet him. Well, you would have thought that I had miraculously learned how to walk at 7 months or something when you saw how happy my Mommy was that I actually smiled for this picture with the fat guy in the red suit. And I think my Nana purchased about a million copies of the picture; meanwhile J-Pa was waiting patiently watching all the other kids get their pictures taken until it was my turn - he didn't complain even one time - unlike a lot of the other people in line with us!! So Mommy and Nana were so excited about this picture, and I was in such a good mood that I decided I wanted to join the choir at church during Christmas Eve mass. Unfortunately, my timing was a little off, and I did a lot of "singing" during the Gospel reading and the homily. Luckily, our priest has a loud, strong voice, but I did make the ladies in the choir and some other folks sitting around us giggle apparently. Anyway, I think I'm going to like this holiday they call Christmas. It seems that kids REALLY like it, so we'll see how next year goes. Merry Christmas everyone!!
