Well, this is our first post on this blog and we are testing this out to see how it works. Lexi is now almost 6 weeks, and we cannot believe it!! She is growing so fast!! When we weighed her at 4.5 weeks, she was already 10 lbs, 6oz!! Needless to say, Heather was happy to hear that Lexi was getting enough milk from breastfeeding because it has been no cake walk to be sure.
Lexi cooed at Shane for the first time last Friday, and he was so excited indeed. If only we had had the video camera out and ready (I had actually just put the video camera down after Shane was teaching Lexi the KU chant).
She is sleeping very well, and for that we are very grateful. She is very fussy when her gas gets really bad, and we can HEAR it when it's bad and feel so badly for her. She is starting to get a little more interactive as she approaches her 6 week birthday on Friday. She definitely turns to hear mom or dad's voice, which we love to see.

But my favorites just became the ones of Lexi smiling!!! What an angel!
